There are always many opportunities of admiring Portuguese work of tiles. Some of the most impressive I had ever seen are in Sintra. But I always pay attention when I travel around Portugal, because there seem to grow little masterpieces everywhere. This one, at the old Post office in Portalegre

Flowers and gardens

There are many reasons for loving Portugal. One of them is how Portuguese take care of flowers and gardens. That photo shows one of the many coins in Obidos where one can admire beautiful flowers.
