The old | Historical Park of Sukhothai |
Sukhothai was a must in our trip to Thailand from the first planning stages. Of course, it was because of its marvellous Old City, a delightful park full of temples and greenery. Riding a bicycle is the best way of enjoying the experience. |
The new We stayed at the new town of Sukhothai. Heavy smell (probably, of durian fruit), street stalls and not many tourists. Not bad for a night. We changed euros at the local bank: it was slowwww. We wondered if they had even seen euros before (which would not be strange: I have not seen Baht until I arrived at Thailand). |
| | The strange Sukhothai airport is the most beautiful and strange airport I have ever seen. |
