Sukhothai Travel Guide: 267 reviews and 744 photos
Sukhothai was a must in our trip to Thailand from the first planning stages. Of course, it was because of its marvellous Old City, a delightful park full of temples and greenery. Riding a bicycle is the best way of enjoying the experience.
We stayed at the new town of Sukhothai. Heavy smell (probably, of durian fruit), street stalls and not many tourists. Not bad for a night. We changed euros at the local bank: it was slowwww. We wondered if they had even seen euros before (which would not be strange: I have not seen Baht until I arrived at Thailand).
Sukhothai airport is the most beautiful and strange airport I have ever seen.
- Pros:So beautiful, so cheap, so interesting...
- Cons:Little nightlife, but who needs it?
- In a nutshell:A unforgettable experience
