The 'Mecca' of Central Queensland Yeppoon is located approx. 40klms east of Rockhampton. It has several beaches, its own islands located just off the coast (accessible by ferry), as well as Byfield - its very own National Park, which also leads to a place called Five Rocks. Five Rocks is a must see for anyone who loves four-wheel driving and getting away from it all.
Yeppoon used to be a sleepy little beachside town, but has just become a popular place for those looking for a sea change lifestyle.
