Late Developer

My sister Sandy and I ended up in France, Austria, Italy, Spain , Yugoslavia and Bulgaria. My father often tried to speak the various languages on our travels but that only encouraged my sister. You can't beat a nod, or the odd yes or no.(Why complicate things)

Had to mention this place. Often people visit whilst on boat trips but you can catch a bus, and explore the peninsular.
I was tempted to buy a house here. But renting in Turkey could be a better bet.

Turkish Gulet

Ships passing in the day come in all sizes and shapes. They look at you and you look at them. Dolphins also can be seen to pass by.
But if you look at the dark shapes on the fish-finder you may wonder what is down in the hidden depths ?

Its nice to walk around to see the yachts and the Marina shopping centre for your designer clothing. There is also a cheap cafe at the back for boat workers and a laundry.
Tatiana and Alp will serenade you if you visit the cocktail bar upstairs in Netsel Marina. Tatiana is particularly good with the Alto Sax.
Its worth walking up the hill overlooking the Marina for a full view-point.
Buy a cool drink or eat in the bar on top and take a rest. Nice.

Getting up in the morning is a pleasure in Turkey. Often you can here the call to prayer from the local Mosque.
A local Turkish travel agent in Marmaris suggested the translation of the prayer at 5.30 am is "wake up, you lazy b-s".

I have the pleasure of being a guest on this lovely yacht and especially in Turkey. It gets a bit choppy making refreshments sometimes but there is a handy safety strap by the cooker to stop you falling over.
