Our family trip originated at Toronto, then after several days of sampling many fun attractions that city offered, we hopped a bus for Niagara Falls.
Our hotel, the Marriott Fallsview overlooked the Canadian side of the Falls and provided a spectacular view of the cataract. Calling it a breath taking view barely describes it! A large oversized window allowed us to see both the American and Canadian sides, plus at night we were able to see it illuminated. Certain nights a fireworks show is presented--while we watched the line of cars snake to and from the park for the show--we were snug in our rooms in air-conditioned comfort.
There were several hotels located at the best waterfall views. Shuttles were available for tours and/or shopping. Restaurants were convenient and within walking distance. We focused on kid-friendly activities and believe me there were plenty!!!!!! See my THINGS TO DO TIPS for fun activities. We discovered lots of things that kids would love to do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
