The Hyatt Regency Embarcadero is situated in a perfect location--
*next to the California street cable car line
**across the road from the Bay and Ferry Building (where you can catch a cruise or amuse yourself at its unique little shops and restaurants)
***along the F-line trolley route, which gives you access to all the stops along the Bay, such as Fisherman's Wharf (Pier 39)or Hyde Street Pier and more

Hyatt's signature glass elevators rise from its spacious lobby (picture 2), where a enormous metal sculpture sits. Great opening shot on your intro. Darwin Coon was at Alcatraz, too, the day I last visited. Interesting book and amazing story of his life. We gave it to a teenage friend with Mr. Coon's inscription "Stay out of trouble." |
