The castle. The bridge. The clock. The beer. The music. The art. Old Town. The girls. Prague is a city that has a lot going for it. So much so that shortly after arriving I made plans to leave. Not because I disliked it, but because I felt if I stayed longer than a few days I might never want to leave. In the end, four days was enough. Not because I grew tired of Prague, but because I had grown tired of the commercialization of it and the hordes of other tourists. Prague is a perfect example of a place ruined by its own popularity. It’s still a wonderful place to visit, but it is much less than what it could be and probably what it once was.
