Ponta Negra Travel Guide: 6 reviews and 15 photos

Ponta Negra is a touristy place approximately 10 kilometers south of Natal. It is generally considered one of the top beaches in the Northeast, although this is due to the built-in infrastructure for tourists more than it is due to the beach itself. Nevertheless, it is a fun, safe place to spend a few days or weeks.

Everything sounds very familiar to me! I had exactly the same experience while I was in Ponta Negra. I really enjoyed the buggy ride... ski bunda and tiraleza were such fun! :) Lua Cheia is a fantastic hostel!!

A fantastic looking beach spot - with amazing dunes!! Quite the coast here.

Good tips. Although don't agree on the umbrellas. I worth give a couple of dollars for a whole day under one, with a comfortable chair and table plus the service !
