Donsol Travel Guide: 111 reviews and 404 photos

Donsol is a sleepy little fishing village that attracts tourists for one reason – it boasts one of the world’s largest concentrations of Whale Sharks. If it weren’t for the sharks, there would be little reason to visit Donsol, but it is an extremely friendly place. Filipinos are curious enough, and Donsol is small enough, that if you spend more than a day or two, you’ll discover that most of the town knows your name, where you come from, your marital status, your occupation, and many other details about your life. The locals are as welcoming as they are curious, and the children are especially enjoyable.

Love the trikes!!! The restaurant sounds wonderful, all that fresher than fresh fish and seafood.....

Great Donsol page, helpful tips! Can't wait to try the grilled seafood at La Meza Tazas.

Oh, the "menu-less" thing makes it all the more special...
