Nature trip in the outskirt of Metropolitan Manila | Natural Spring water pool @ Laguna |
Since I didn't have much time to go far out of metropolitan Manila, I considered going to the nearest place with bountiful nature. It is Laguna, about two hours bus ride from Pasay City (BLTB Bus Lines along EDSA) or about 2 and a half hours ride from Lawton bus station which is near the City Hall (an 18th century spanish architectural building with huge clock).
The trip was really fascinating, passing by mountains and the beautiful Laguna de Bay. Coconut pie is so delicious from this place, and lots of other sweet stuff. Wonderful people and rows and rows of resorts with mineral spring water pools and lagoons with tall slides and Mt. Makiling on the backdrop.
Worth the trip if you haven't got so much time! |
