Welcome to Buffalo, NY... There's stuff to do!

Welcome to Buffalo!

Hi and welcome to the next chapter!
I went to the university here for several years, so I can give you the in's and out's. Ready?
First, for places to stay, look around the North Campus around Maple Drive and Sheridan Ave, as most parents need a place to stay while visiting their kids in college.
There are also a ton of places to eat on Maple Dr., and last I knew, there was a Perkins (breakfast ) and Fudruckers (huge burgers) and a couple others. But you have to go to the Main St campus to get to the decent bars. But on the way, be sure to stop at Duff's as their wings are awesome!!

Buffalo Wings

The concept of hot n spicy Buffalo Wings started at the Anchor Bar on Main Street, which is also known as Rt. 5. If you ask for them to make the hottest wings they can make, the cook will make 'em for you and then watch you eat them to see how suicidal you really are! (jk) But seriously, they can be so hot that it'll melt the paint off your car. All exaggerations aside, once you get used to their hot wings, that anywhere else you go will seem like they can't even compare. As part of the group that went out for wings, it was peer pressure to eat what the upper classmen could eat. And beer doesn't make the hotness go away unless you're just totally drunk (not me!) Bread and milk work best.
