Rothenburg ob der Tauber - 2001 visit This is the best preserved walled city from medieval times. So - yes - it is a tourist trap. But I found it not too-crowded, very friendly, and well worth my time! When visiting, you can climb inside the wall and walk around a good chunk of the city, and get a great view of the city and the outlying areas. We only spent one night here, I would have preferred two to have more time to explore. |
