We ended up in Todtnauberg after driving past the two big lakes in the area (Titisee and Schluchsee), and getting a little nervous that we weren't going to find any accomodations before nightfall. The town was pretty small, but we found a good hotel (Engel). Also we hiked around the Todtnau waterfalls (a couple of miles away) which was a good time. There were a lot of bridges crossing the water, so you can get up close to it.
