The gold in the ruins... behind that pillar of ancient time is swinging to the rhythm of the Nile the veins to our existence the turbulent road ...and the colorful sky
The king's stone blocks still stand... pointing towards the sky the lion upon the hills the stories gracing their death beds .. of what life meant back then of where they'd hope to go... and where they've been
religion has stood tall upon this land not one faith but many not many people ... just some
as empires rose and fell on a land that stood to tell the tales of the khalifa, the king and throne and the fugitives of higher grounds
just at dawn you may hear whisper you may also hear a scream as the virgin is sacrificed to the Nile and the people live their dream |
| | Fare well childhood world I guess all people have experienced stepping out of their childhood years into maturity, and a lot of people feel a simple sense of sadness when recalling how pure and simple life was when they were children, but on August 2007, i lost you, my dearest childhood friend, and with your loss, all childhood memories seized to exist, a new form of reality yielded and enforced its presence in my life, the reality of responsibility, and the murder of a world you once regarded as pure and wholesome, a jungle perhaps where there is no room for the weak and laughter is but a form of cynicism depicting our failure to change the world.
Farewell my dearest friend, my childhood friend, and the keeper of the key to memories of the boy i once was. |
