The Little Town we drove through.... I cant say that I know much about Boulder City. I have driven through it a few times but never stayed here. I appears to be a small, clean, safe little town.
What I do know is that this town is located about 30 minutes from the Las Vegas strip toward Lake Mead and Hoover Dam.
During the construction of the Hoover Dam, Boulder City was a bustling town with people from all over the United States who sought out work during the Depression Years. The government's massive dam project offered them, hot , hard, back breaking work, but it was work and they got a paycheck and it was needed in these difficult times. |
|  | The views of Lake Mead were beautiful. There are also many homes in this area that are not only gorgeous but have this amazing view as well. |
