For many people this is the first place they see on Kauai. This is a major port of call for those on cruise ships. I only spent about half the day here because we were passing through and Rob wanted to see the Raider game really quick. There we found a sports bar right next to Duke's and Rob was able to see the football game and have a beer while I explored this place alittle.

There was alot of activity here, a great beach, lots of restaurants, and two malls.
Its a great place to hang out at if you are limited on time.

Just wanted to let you know that your comment is still helping. I had heard there was a mall but did not know about the beach. That settles it. No expensive shore excursion. We will definitely hang out there instead. Thanks so much.
