They say that Negril has the better beaches and that it is a more relaxed atmosphere than Montego Bay. We really didnt care to really party, we just wanted to relax and we were told that Negril was the place to do that so this is where we stayed.
I suggest that you figure out what things/excursions you want to do/what you want to see then decide where you want to stay. Based on some of the things we were interested in seeing, we should have stayed in Ocho Rios.
I dont regret staying in Negril, it is a beautiful place. The island is much bigger than we expected so going to the other side of the island isnt something you can do as a day trip. We also never got to see Blue Mountain which we wanted to. It also depends on how long you will be on vacation. The longer you have the more you will be able to do and see. |
