Hotel in a very central location of Amman and other Amman, Jordan Hotel/Accommodation Reviews

I stayed at the Intercontinental in Amman for one night during a business trip. Obviously the room was quite spacious and nice as you would expect from a member of the Intercontinental chain.

The internet access in the room is charged at JD 15 for 24 hours which I think is a bit of a rip-off. But nonetheless it is a nice hotel with friendly staff and a good location.

Unique Qualities: When I arrived I found a variety of dates in the room some of which had nut fillings or cream fillings. Along with that there was a little card which explained that the date palm is known as "The Tree of Life" in Jordan, showing its significance for the people there.

I stayed at the Marriott Amman for my trips to Amman in February 2007. The room had the typical comfortable Marriott interieur that you would find in Marriotts all over the world.

The internet access in the room is charged at JD 10.50 for 24 hours or JD 20 for 48 hours which I found quite expensive. The hotel itself has friendly staff and the restaurants are very good too.

Unique Qualities: - Good variety at the Breakfast buffet
- Champions Sports bar which gives you a typical pub like atmosphere.
