My name is Shawn LeCompte.
I am 25 years old.
I'm a graduate student, living in Waterloo, Ontario.

For those who know me...
You know the gears are constsantly cranking away.
You know it will be memorable.
You know I will do something to surprise you.
But most importantly, I will do something to surprise myself.

For those who may not...
My travel habits reflect my personality.

Many locations I have visited are unspoiled, obscure, and more relaxing than anything. I prefer the road less travelled. It always provides more interesting experiences than repeating what everyone else is doing. The experience is more memorable, as are the stories.

I'm the shy guy who you will see alone, lying on the beach, reading for hours on end.
The same guy who jumped from a plane at an alititude of 15000 feet earlier that day.
The same guy who will head off into the desert with a swag, consideing snakes, spiders, and scorpions to be nothing worse than "great photo material".
The same guy who will pound back a dozen stubbies that night and be the life of the party.
I'm complex on many levels, and never cease surprising anyone... myself, especially.

If something sounds interesting and unique, I'm there.
It makes life that much more interesting.
