Cairo is one of the most amazing places ive ever been there is something extra special about it that makes me want to go back all the time its magical, i came here for the first time in 2003 & have been back 6 times since then & as the Egyptians say "when you drink the water of the Nile you will always return to Cairo"!

The best hotel is by far is Le Meridien Pyramids, It has a gorgeous view of the pyramids from the hotel & the staff there are wonderful, everytime i go there they remember your name & give you 5 star service.... Id reccommend this hotel to anyone. See my tips for more about this hotel.

One thing you must try when you go to Egypt is the hubbly bubbly Shisha water pipes. Im not a smoker but this stuff is great and tastes nothing like cigarettes. It comes in a fancy pipe with water in the bottom of the glass and comes with flavoured tobacco. My favourite is Cherry but the Egyptians tend to favour Apple which also tastes great. Almost everywhere you go in Cairo you will see Shisha cafes, and the locals even smoking them in the shops or in the street.

This is one of the things i miss when i come home, its a great way to sit and socialise with the locals and enjoy a drink at the same time.
