Rr Dëshmorët: The best street for bars

This is one of the best area's to come out to drink in the evening. Plenty of the young locals hang out in this area and it is always really busy. Many bars with outdoor seating area's and a very good place to people watch! Seems to be a cool place to be and just round the corner is a club so you can hear the music and see the lights up in the sky! On both sides of the road you will find trendy hang out places.

The road was being dug up Aug 2005 so hopefully they have finished re laying it by now!

Dress Code: depends where you go, but people tend to dress up when they go out at night in Albania.

Living Room: Tirana night spot

The Living Room is meant to be one of 'places to be seen' in Tirana. I have never been here but i here that it is a bar/club with a large rooftop lonuge and multilevel decks looking out of the city. There is a restaurant here but the main reason to come is the parties and cocktails!!!

Mango Beach: Music bar

Open from 08:00- 18:00 You can get fast food, music and bar. There is also a private beach with use of jet ski and canoe's.

From 18:00 - 23:00 there is the kafe- bar and back ground music.

Then from 23:00 til late there is disco, house and latin music.

Very loud club!

We visited a little nightclub/bar down right near the beach in Ksamil, it seemed very busy with people sitting around the edge drinking or people in the middle of the floor dancing. A nice place but one of the loudest places i have ever been....you cant hear anyone talking to you and the seem to be lots of teenage boys hanging around outside running down to the sea and messing about or scooters.

Dress Code: anything goes, albanians seem to like very short skirts!
