"Drink the Nectar of the Forbidden Fruit !" FruitLover's Profile
My family's roots go back to DAROCA (CLICK!) in Aragon, Spain, chronologically back to 13th century till the end of 15th century.
I'll be greatful to any one who will tell me any piece of information or reference about the Jewish community in Daroca, generally, Benbassat (Avenpessat) family specifically.
Many thanks again, Miguel for connecting me to Dr. Motis from Zaragoza University who has made researches about Daroca.
THANX IN ADVANCE, AMIGOS!

shalom anashim [Hello folks]!
Thanx for visiting my homepage. Hope you'll find some of my pages, tips, pics, adventures, experiences, useful and interesting.
Israel (click!) is my homeland (was born in Haifa (click!)). I have the sublime privilege to be born and live in "The Promised Land", which is according to Bible: "A land of weat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, and pomegranates, a land of oil, olive, and honey" (Deuteronomy, 8, 8). In Hebrew: "Eretz hita useora vegefen ute'ena, verimon eretz zeit, shemen udvash"(Devarim, h, h).
The Fig symbolizes femininity, productivity & abundance, the Apple - love & temptation, the Date - male fertility, Pomegranate - abundance, Peach - immortality, and Lemon - purity & loyalty.
Bulgaria (click!) is my second homeland [my parents, both, were born there].
Sept 2008, The WM08 Meeting in Israel & Jordan, which I had the right to organize, has come to a successful conclusion.

I was in Dubrovnic recently and searching for a vegetarian restaurant. When I
googled a search, your webpage appeared. I relied on your recommendation for
Nishte and was not disappointed. The food was fabulous and artful and the
chef/wait staff were delightful. What a great find! So glad I found your notes.
Thanks for taking the time to refer to the restaurant.

The reality in Santorini is so astonishing that photos, prose or poetry, will forever be forced to limp behind. Only in science fiction you'll find anything quite like this extinct volcano of white marble, which blew its head off at some moment in the Bronze Age, and must have partially destroyed a rich and elaborate culture of the Cretan type. The tidal wave alone caused floods as far away as Egypt and Spain, while the rain of volcanic ash, the scholars surmise, may have been what finished off the Minoan civilization once and for all.
