Every Traveller that actually interacts with the citizens of whereever they are visiting knows that there are some standard Questions and Answers that common in all conversations. Whats your name, Age, Occupation and Where are you from? Seems easy enough right?! Well for me, some times it feels more complicated. When asked where Im from I usually answer, "That depends what you want to know. Do you want to know where I was Born, Grew up, Studied or where I live now? For me I feel like all of these places are home. I feel more attached to some places more than others. Ive stayed in places for years to weeks or days and depending on my spiritual growth or the human connections shades how much I feel that place is home to me. But this page is about Tarentum, PA.
This is where many of my moral principals and foundations were laid (though they have changed a lot over time and may not even be the same but at least the roots are here.) Its the home where most of my Very large immediate family is located. A place that Ive learned to appreciate and compare with every other place I've been, and will go to. And where they love hearing and telling about the all the nice places Ive been and want to know where Im going next. Grandma makes sure that Im acting like I was raised right no matter where I am in the world. Well I try anyway;) !!
