Yes folks! I know its been awhile but working a real job and on committee with my NGO has kept me from you. But Trust me Im working that out as much as possible. Im going to be doing my fave thing...Traveling once again! Im going back to my University for a reunion. So California Here I come. I hope to see good ol' stockton with fresh eyes and I hope to get out to Lockford and pick up some Vino! Soon I will make sure to add more pics from my last time in nicaragua and some fun ones from home here!

Summer school is almost over and in 2 weeks (ish) I'll be on my to Nicaragua again! I hope to have lots of tips for everyone when I return as well as many nice pictures! Hasta la bye bye !:)

Our Oddessy Cruise for the Cherry Blossom Festival Kick of was wonderful! It was everything we thought it would be and we plan on doing that more often since its really not all that as expensive as you would think, It cost the same as going out to a really nice resaurante,,,but this one floats:) when my Pics get in Im going to post my tips on how you too can go crusing in DC.

Peace and Understanding through Travel:
Today is Martin Luther King Jr's Birthday!!! Known for his efforts in the civil rights movement in the US and most famous for his "I have a Dream" speech in Washington DC. There will be parades and celebrations all over the nation for him today, yet I wonder how far we have really come. Our Nation and world is far from being at peace and I cant help feel like for how far we came we are a second from being worse than before. Hate didnt end it just transfered its target. Once a made a promise to my friends mother that I would do my part at making sure this kind of hatred ends...But then and now, I had no idea how to do that. Many in my family ask why I travel so much!?! Not that I dont like home, I just want to learn as much about the world I share with so many people and let them learn from me as well. I think that is the best way to bring peace. Showing that there are kind, openminded people somewhere, anywhere in the world. I will be glad when we get to the point where we truely judge people by the content of their character, with out all the sterotypes, but by the things that makes us all part of the beautiful, growing Human race. I just got back from this years Lunar New Year Celebration in Washington DC. I was really lovely and this year we tried a new place to Eat ( Pork Buns are to die for). I will have more tips and pics about this day but for now I need to rest! Bye all and have a great new year!!!
