A hidden gem When I told people about my planned trip to Ljubljana, the standard response was "where's that". I did a fair bit of research prior to the trip & VT proved invaluable. One VT member pointed me towards Particks Bar to watch the Scotland V Belarus game that kicked off 15 minutes after we touched down. We only missed the first 10 minutes by which time we were 1-0 down and remained so for the rest of the game. Pity we had such a poor start but the rest of the visit was great and by 4am Sunday morning we knew we'd lucked out at being drawn to play such a great country. |

Those 'bowl shaped loaves' are all the rage, here, for wedding parties, now!I loved my brief visit to Ljubljana, en route to the islands of Dalmatia. |
