People call lots of countries hot ! But in Kuwait it really does get hot. If you park outside in summer you need to wear ski gloves to touch the steering wheel of your car when you start driving. The metal window frames in your office and house get so hot you can't touch them. You can get very very badly sunburned in less than 15 minutes if you venture out for a walk or lie by the pool. Be careful, drink lots of water, stay in the shade, if you need to tan lie out late in the afternoon around 4:30pm for an hour at the most.
From October 2004 to October 2005 I lived in Kuwait and was constantly amazed at how much I enjoyed a country people said I would hate to live in. Yes you can't go for a beer, there are no concerts and very few "normal" social events, but the rest of the country makes up for it. Quad Biking in Kuwait is better than anywhere else I have ever been (across three different continents). The jetskiing is also great as there is a slipway near where everyone lives so no long trips to get to the water. If you are going to Kuwait on business, don't make the mistake of rushing away after your meetings finish, stay a day or two and don't miss this amazing country.

I had a few good places in Fahaheel that developed my film...not too bad of a job but true the quality might not always be the best (and I've found the negatives weren't that good). Glad to find someone who enjoyed Kuwait!
