Mino is one of the most popular places for residents of urban Osaka to get out and experience nature. The hike to the waterfall is actually a very easy paved hike, perfect for city folks, I suppose.

The waterfall was chosen as one of Japan's Top 100 Waterfalls. It's definitely a nice site! The autumn season is the most popular time to come because the trees along the path turn colors. Probably those who want it to be a little more serene should come during a different season, but the autumn season feels festive!

Along with the nature there are also some temples, shrines, and the Insect Museum which make the walk more enjoyable.
