"Stone Buddha Path" Kizugawa by Rabbityama

Kizugawa Travel Guide: 4 reviews and 13 photos

In the Kamo area of Kizugawa, near the border with Nara Prefecture, there is a great sekibutsu (Stone Buddha) trail. It starts at Gansenji Temple and ends at Joruriji Temple with most of the stone Buddhas lying inbetween. There are some other Buddhas outside of the trail but it's a lot of fun to try and find all of the Buddhas and it is not a fake trail; the stone Buddhas have real history and were carved hundreds of years ago.

Good job in finally creating a Kizugawa page which was unresearchable. You really did pioneering work. I would like to visit there real soon.
