October 2005 - November 2005 My first trip to Bangkok, Thailand, and I truly hope that it will not be my last. The city is a vibrant, bustling city and is a lovely place to stay - well for a city anyhow !!!!.
If you want it I am sure that bangkok has it - and if not someone will get it for you, somehow :).
Bangkok for me was more of a retreat from Europe and not really a sightseeing tour and travel section although I did try and get around the city quite a bit, which is extremely easy due to the BTS Skytrain system, Tut Tuks, Motorbike Taxis and Buses. Bangkok has an abundance of Temples, Interesting Buildings, Features and parks but it is still a city - If you are wanting to get away this is not really the place to do it. I would recommend a few days in Bangkok and then onto another Thai destination. |
