Avignon was like the Vatican in old times. Home to the most important Papal Palace, nowdays it's more popular for its international arts festivals. I truly enjoyed my short visit. We were in Cannes and took a train towards Paris. This was a nice stop along the way. Give it at least 5 hours. |
