A guy whom I made a friend with in Paris said that Paris was "une très visité ville" (a highly visited city).. I couldn't agree more on that! For those who hasn't been to this city should really take a trip once in lifetime - Paris really has charm and loads to see and do things in this huge city.. |
|  | An extensive trip around this city (and it's environs) would probably take around 6 days.. (you wouldn't want to stress yourself out from all the walking). Loads of walking to be done in Paris, but it's all good as you can see more along the way. And at the Louvre, if you really want to cover the entire museum, expect to do almost non stop walking for hours as the place is huge! |
| | No trip to Paris is ever ever complete if you do not ascend the Eiffel Tower to the top! The views are magnificent from there..But as the Eiffel Tower provides the best panoramic view of the city, there are also other places like Arc de Triomphe, Montparnasse Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral and Sacré Coeur that provide interesting bird's eye views.
For those who have been there, I'm sure you already have your own 2nd "icon" of this city other than La Tour Eiffel. |
