It's worth being homesick & taking risks

I usually have a pretty good idea of where I’m going. Being a giraffe does have its advantages, like having a long neck. That comes in handy for navigation. But there are times when I’m not so sure. That’s okay. You don’t always have to know where you are going to get there. Sometimes that’s the most fun of all. You just have to have faith that you’ll get there in the long run. Still, it’s an unusual thing for a giraffe to be so disoriented. Especially when they are far from home as I am now. I must admit that I’m a bit homesick. But that’s okay too. I guess I could have just stayed put and avoided all this. But I would have missed a lot. You can’t get homesick without taking some risks and exploring new places, new people. So, I’m glad I did.

I found out San Francisco has lots of giraffes! :)

Hi Giraffede! My mom is having the flu and is feeling really grumpy, hihi, scary!!! But the good thing is that she says she feels so 'bweh', that I can play on the computer all day long instead! :-))) *Bear Hugs* from a HaPpY little bear to all of you :-)
