Before Cres and Losinj were one island, nowadays a small canal seperates them. The canal was bulit long time ago by Romans.
Main places on the island are Mali and Veli Losinj. Veli (in Croatian means big) being today much more smaller than Mali (small) Losinj.
It is a lovely Kvarner island situated in the north Adriatic, with great vegetation, air being one of the healthiest (Hospital for respiratory problems), crystal clear sea, dolphins and much more... |
