My wife and I have stayed here twice. The location is great on top of a large hill with great views of the ocean. They have a great swimming pool here, probably one of the best for lounging around and reading a book. The restaurants here are also very good with a theme night every night. The Thai theme night was especially good (go figure !!) and the food memorable.
On the downside, the rooms are in need of an update, as some of the fixtures are a bit old and run down. They have that appearance of being used many many times in the past with the odd chip in the wall, scuff mark around corners and benches, and the odd lamp shade slightly torn/ripped etc. The airconditioners were great for the warm weather but were very noisy at night time, when you still needed them. Probably old ones as I cant imagine new air conditioners being that noisy.
Apart from that, the hotel was fine and the walk into town (about 10 minutes) was a nice start to our day. Unless it will soon be (or recently has been) renovated, we will stay elsewhere next time.
