"First Time Traveling" San Andrés by Sleepy939

Well after much debate on where to go for a much needed vacation, I decided on Columbia. I must say though that at first I thought it may be a bad idea, as I was completely caught up in the media blitz and various travel warnings about South American.

Well I'm glad to say that once again the media as well as Canadian Foreign Affairs, were WRONG! Seriously though, media is usually wrong. I mean I could not find ample information that said good things.

Either way, It was the best decison I could have made. This decision did 2 things. The first being that I had a great time, and the second being that just because you hear certain things about a place, doesn't mean that it is an accurate reflection of the place as a whole. SO that being said, this was the beginning of my travels.
