I felt at home here. If you can see through the tourist traps and visit local haunts you will get the most out of Monterey. I cannot remember where they where but use your nose to find the small restaurant with the chefs special 'Clam Chowder', the cove where we watched the seals and otters play and the beach we sat and watched the sun set. All this and more makes this a place I 'will' go back to one day .
