A working city. www.cartagena.es

The Port
As a tourist Cartagena is a pleasure. Stay in a centrally located hotel and leave the car. All main tourist attractions are within walking distance. If just visiting for the day find a parking space near the port and walk.
Romam Ampitheatre

Roman Influence

209BC the Romans finally conquered Quart Hadast and renamed it Nova Carthago. Evidence of their occupation still remains in many areas of the city, much of which is being lovingly restored.

Hi Mark! Just wondering what is that big "bug?" in intro pic (in sky...UFO?) here? Nice tips...I also like sitting on a bench and watching people (but with chips or a box of chocolates, hehehe...)Norman :)
