Bako National Park Restaurant Tips by iNorv9

Despite some of the negative reviews out their, I had no problems with the food at the cantine. There isn't much choice, usually 2 or 3 main dishes, but on the whole I was content with what they had to offer.

For breakfast there was always your typical toast, eggs and meat. For dinner, they usually had some local hawker-style dish, such as stir-fried noodles and/or marinated meat.

The prices were a little higher than in town, but very reasonable considering it's the only restaurant in the entire park. Also, the restaurant staff was extremely friendly, spoke excellent English, and was always willing to answer any questions their guests had.

Directions: Located at Park HQ, you can't miss it
