I am here in Tirana, Albania and starting to get used to the new Country.
Seems to be plenty of Internet cafe here, although not many have high speed.
New Years is the countries largest holiday and last for three of four days, or untill the fire-works run out. If you arrive durring that time, don't get excited when a M-80 explodes between your feet. Seems to be their way of saying "Welcome to Albania"!
Seriously, this is not too bad for a third world country. The people are friendly, but not much english is spoken here. So I recomend getting an Albanese-English dictionary & keep it with you.
