Visiting Częstochowa

I spent in Częstochowa most of my life so I don't go there as a tourist. However no doubt Częstochowa is a tourist place because of it's Sanctuary of Our Lady. That place is obviously worth to see so If you go to Poland please thing about visiting Częstochowa as well.

Well, it is relatively close to Czestochowa from Krakow. It is 130 km away, about 1,5 hour driving. There are some direct coaches linking two cities and very few trains I suppose. Accomodation shouln't be any problem there if you'd like to stay overnight.

Am planning on being in Krakow for the EuroMeet 2010. Is Częstochowa anywhere near Krakow?
