Restaurant Name: L'amigo

L'amigo restaurant it was recommended to us by our Maltese tour operator and I have to admit that it was a perfect choice.

We took the dinner on the terrace located at the first floor of the restaurant. The terrace had the view on Mellieha main street.

The only inconvenient we found was that, due to the large number of our group, they brought us the dishes a bit late, but, otherwise everything was perfect and the food very good.

Favorite Dish: For the dinner we have obviously chosen the most popular dishes in Malta.

The fish soup and Rabbit stew. The fish soup was very creamy and with a delicate spicy fish flavour which I enjoyed a lot.

But my favourite was the rabbit stew.

Rabbit is almost a national dish in Malta and we couldn't miss it. The rabbit meat lightly fried and simmered in a casserole of red wine, was so delicious.

It is served with potatoes and vegetable salad.

Favorite Dish: The dessert was a surprise from the house.

And the taste was even more than we expected.

Soft sheets of dough with a soft chocolate flavour cream, covered by a downy vanilla-coconut cream was the perfect choice for closing this special dinner.
