Beside the numerous gorgeous waterfalls on the area (Kleivafoss, Tvinnefoss or Glomnesfoss) here can be also find the Hornindalsvatnet lake, the deepest lake in Europe, 514 meters deep, and one of the cleanest in Norway.

Other attractions in the area:

- Anders Svor Museum: dedicated to the art of the well-known local sculptor, Anders Svor (1864-1929), with 450 pieces of his work displayed;

- The Fjord Horse: the national centre for breeding and use of the Fjord horse is offering mountain trekking on horseback, riding camp and riding lessons;

- Nordfjord Folkmuseum: with 40 buildings dating from the 18th and 19th centuries.

 Fantastic photographs of great scenery. Cloudy weather makes them more mysterious :-)

 Unfortunate that it was such cloudy weather. The scenery is hard to appreciate when everything is so dark. I bet it is beautiful here.
