    • Typical for the local cuisine is the famous radicchio rosso produced only in the region around Treviso.

    The vegetable can be used for salads (the best period is during the winter), grilled as side dish and in risotto.

    This type of radicchio rosso is different from the vegetable of the same name sold in stores around the world.

     Great Treviso page. at the beginning it was for me only an overnight stay alternative when visiting Venice but later I noticed its outstanding charme. I come back - and if it is only for a short stroll and an "ombra"

     Great presentation of beautiful architecture + info (I didn't know that tiramisu is from Treviso, too! I am lucky to find Molinetto di Treviso :-). Haha, once i stopped in Treviso and took short walk around, the only picture I took way just by the mill.
