Ca' del Galletto is a modern 4**** hotel located near the city center in a quiet residential area.

The hotel is only 15min walking distance from Piazza dei Signori and there is a bus that passes every 30 min from early in the morning until 9:30 pm and stops to the train station. Considering the location and the fact that the Treviso city center is traffic free, it is better to walk than to call the taxi.

Despite the fact that my room was at the end of a long corridor (which is not very pleasant when you have a heavy luggage and no one around to help you) and the receptionist didn't seem very open or helping with the clients, Ca' del Galletto could be a satisfactory alternative for a Treviso accommodation.

Unique Qualities: The rooms are well equipped, nicely decorated and some have also Jacuzzi.

There is also a summer swimming pool and a tennis camp.

Out of the three hotels I've tried in Treviso, Carlton was far the best choice from the point of view of comfort and location.

The Hotel is perfectly located, just 300m away from the Train Station (5 min walking)on the way to the city center, and the rooms are large and comfortable, according to the 4**** rating.

This is the best alternative for a stay in Treviso!

Unique Qualities: The breakfast was very good and the staff very friendly and helping. Considering the traffic free areas in the center, this is the perfect starting point for exploring the town, but also reaching easily the train station.

Hotel Carletto was for me a desperate solution that saved me from sleeping in the train station.

Due to another railway workers strike I had to return to Treviso one day earlier than planned in order to be sure that I’ll not lose the flight.

At 10 pm Hotel Carletto was the only hotel in Treviso that had a free room.

The biggest problem was the transportation from and to the train station. The hotel is located at 30min walking distance from Treviso train station and at that hour the only possibility to get there was the taxi, as all the busses covering the route run until 9:30 pm the latest. The taxi fare costs around EUR 9-.

Unique Qualities: Despite the fact that my room as pretty small and at late hours there is no possibility to eat either in the hotel or around, the hotel seemed fine and the breakfast was satisfactory.
