Located where the Aegean Sea meets the Mediterranean Sea, Marmaris is one of the most beautiful resorts on the Turkish Riviera.
Probably not as famous as Bodrum, renown mainly among the young persons, with its cosmopolitan atmosphere Marmaris is in my opinion the best place if you want to enjoy a wonderful holiday on the seaside but also visit some interesting places.
Even its name is describing perfectly the place. Marmaris is originally a Greek word meaning glittering and shining.
With hundreds of restaurants, shops, bars and other entertainment Marmaris is a place where you will never be bored.

Hi Diana, Took the ferry day trip from Rhodes to Marmaris 3 weeks ago, still as good as when you were there. My wife now wants to tour Turkey next holiday, but our money is evaporating fast!

Marmaris looks to be a fun place to visit, with the beaches and bazaars, and it is a reasonable price to stay and eat here too.
