Costa Del Sol

As far as you can see is this amazing flat golden beach with crashing waves. We were surprised that there was no one here! The waves are huge and only once in a while do we see a lone surfer.

This is a rich area ! We´re told by our driver that" only the rich man lives here". This is the shame of it all!

Town Life

The disparity of the rich and poor is still very evident in El Salvador!

The towns show a more typical way of life for the masses!

Much to see

El Salvador is such a tiny country and has much to offer . There are wonderful beaches and rivers , diverse wildlife , Mayan ruiins and volcanoes. It is at the dawn of tourism though and the infrastructure is not in place ., It's not the type of area that you can easily get around on your own . ...a guide or tour company will make it all possible.

Pros and Cons

Pros:No tourists, friendly people and a beautiful country!
Cons:Much too much poverty !
In a nutshell:A land that is new to tourism but has much to offer!
