Peru

This page will take quite a bit of time as this was truly a trip of a lifetime .

Machu Picchu was absolutely breathtaking. Our first glimpse was through a thin veil of fog which slowly disappeared as if in a dream..WOW!! We walked every foot of it with a guide . This is one area you really should take a guide inorder to try to understand the wonder you are seeing.

The trip to Puno by train ...through the plains was another special time . Seeing heards of lamas and their colorful herdsmen like watching a real life National Geographic film .

I would say Lake Titicaca was my favorite part . We arrived on the Island in the early morning on a sunny crisp day . Nowhere have I felt such peace as I felt sitting with the local people by their simple straw tent in the warm sun...

There are such wonders to write about on this trip ........not enough time to finish ..right now
