Venice is one of those places that everyone wants to go to. I can't remember when I didn't , I guess always . I remember when I was in highschool and my boyfriend's brother and sister in law came home with a little light up gondola from Venice. ( tacky I know , but for me it was , back then , it was just so exotic!!)
Well finally ..Venice!
It lived up to all my expectations and more!!

We too took the vaporetto..far better Value than the Gondolo which we thought was 'tourist trap"
