It´s fun for a couple of days but its really a party town. It´s only a strip stetched along the beach front of Salsa Brava, El Parquecita, and El Chino. It has lots of restaurants and barsand tons of accomadations..pretty cheap!

The beaches of Playa Negros or Playa Cocles are lovely and only a few km away . It´s easy to catch a bus in either direction if you want to get a break from the town!

The people here are friendlyand seem happy to see the tourists. Still don´t know why the Caribbean Coast has a bad rap.

Only 4 hours by direct bus from San Jose and you´ll think you´ve flown to Jamaica!!
