|  | Hilltribe People It was like stepping back in time the day we met the friendly people of the Karon tribe. Although it's unimaginable to me , they seem so happy to where these traditional rings on there necks , arms and legs.
From the the time they are 7 years of age the little girls wear the heavy brass rings!! |
| Elephant riding near Chiang Rai |
| | Elephant village Instead of a horse , you can ride around the village on an elephant . These elephants seem very well cared for and are happy to take you for a ride . They enjoy their elephant shower afterwards and elephant snack of bananas and sugar cane!! |
